The whole family is welcome to join us for drag bingo, a silent auction, and raffle with New England's Biggest Medium Deal, A Woman Named Carlös! Come share your love, your laughter and your wallet for an afternoon to benefit COLAGE. Come for the queen, the kitsch and the prizes. Play 1 round for $7; 2 for $10; or 3 for $12. There will be a table of raffle and silent auction baskets including giant stuffies, a Parents' Getaway, a No Place Like Home, a giant stuffed animal, and youth and adult matching costumes, that will be called at the end of the seating. Doors open at 3:30pm and we’ll boot you out by 4:45pm to clean up.
Carlös cut her teeth in the New York City nightlife scene, and has since transitioned (into the world of cabaret). She started a series of popular drag performances at venues in Vermont (The Depot, St.Albans), New Hampshire (The Big House, Weirs Beach) , and Maine (The Leavitt Theater, Ogunquit), producing and directing these live-sung experiences. For the last four years she has headlined as “The Diva”, onboard Virgin Voyages, and will continue on with them in the Fall. Carlos assisted in the creation and starred in the opening cast of “Around the World with the Diva” playing onboard Virgin Voyages’ Valiant Lady.
